We are committed to our staff. As a community, we are devoted to a culture of continuing growth not just as a health center team, but as individuals. Education, community, and work-life balance is important to create sustainable well-being in our careers
As a nurse here, you will learn and collaborate with a variety of teams: Primary Care, Urgent Care, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Complex Addictions, the Recuperative Care Center, and more. At times, you will be able to pick up overtime shifts and float between different teams. At LCHC, your success matters. If you aren’t sure what path you want to specialize in for your nursing career, you can work with nurses on different teams to find your fit.
Patient medical and behavioral health care at LCHC is fully integrated. We remove barriers to care so everyone can receive the culturally competent and complete healthcare they need. Our integrated teams work with our health insurance enrollment department, community health workers, and many partner organizations to ensure our patients have access to wrap-around care.

Lynn Community Health Centerās partnership with the Iowa Online Nurse Residency Program allows new graduate nurses to participate in online learning modules, virtual discussions, and a residency project at the end that will directly affect patient outcomes. This innovative program is designed to assist students with transitioning from the academic setting to your newfound role as a registered nurse.
Research has shown that new graduate nurses participating in nurse residency programs during their first year as registered nurses experience an increase in confidence, a decrease in stress, and a quicker transition from novice to competent nurse, all of which leads to increased professional satisfaction.
