HRSA Site Visit: A Success That Reflects Who We Are
Every three years, the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) conducts an Operational Site Visit (OSV) at all federally qualified health centers across the country — and this April, it was our turn.
From April 8–10, 2025, a team of HRSA representatives was on-site at Lynn Community Health Center to review our compliance with the statutory and regulatory requirements of the Health Center Program. This triennial visit is part of HRSA’s national oversight and support efforts and was an expected milestone for our organization. While not all staff were directly involved, the HRSA team toured our facilities, reviewed extensive documentation, and engaged with departments across the organization.
As always, our team approached the visit with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence. Staff across all departments continued their work as usual — offering a genuine window into what day-to-day excellence looks like at LCHC. It was a moment to demonstrate what we already know to be true: that our organization is rooted in quality, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to community health.
And we’re proud to share that the HRSA visit was a resounding success.
The auditors shared glowing early feedback, commending the strength of our programs, the clarity of our documentation, and the professionalism of our staff. This success would not have been possible without the leadership of our Chief Compliance Officer, Elena Freydin, who guided our preparation efforts with exceptional attention to detail and cross-department coordination.
Special recognition also goes to our Billing Department, whose work received standout praise during the visit. HRSA reviewers highlighted our billing processes as among the most efficient they’ve seen — an incredible reflection of the behind-the-scenes dedication that powers our work every day.
We celebrated this success at our most recent Town Hall with heartfelt thanks to all staff involved in the preparation, execution, and support of the site visit. Whether you were actively preparing materials, answering questions, coordinating logistics, or simply doing your job with excellence during the visit — you played a part in this achievement.
Thank you to every member of our team for making this visit such a proud reflection of who we are.
