This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. In 2010, two Lynn elementary schools were designated by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as “underperforming” or “Level 4” after their students performed poorly on the MCAS test. In September, after three years as a Level 4 school, Connery and Harrington were removed from the underperforming list. Lynn Community Health Center School Based Health Centers mentioned as a part of the solution.
